Over the past few decades, the concept of ultra-high dilutions (UHD) of various substances has become a subject of heated discussions in the scientific community. Famous scientists have been engaged in fierce debates with their opponents using such leading scientific journals as Nature, Science, and Lancet as a forum. Meanwhile, new works devoted to the study of the nature of ultra-high dilutions continue to appear in the field of physics, chemistry, medicine and biology. The conclusions of such works keep fueling the discussion. Absurd articles from “experts” keep appearing in popular science media, giving rise to myths and even creating among the public “subcultures” of those who either are inspired by the concept of UHD or radically deny it.

My name is Mikus Endre. For many years, I have been a researcher in the field of experimental pharmacology. Once my team was asked to test pre-clinical formulations based on UHD. The main driving force of my curiosity is to find answer to the question how does an UHD based drug could evoke clinically relevant effect. Usually, I am a smooth skeptic until I find answers to virtually un-explainable questions. However, my smooth skepticism doesn’t block rather fuel me to examine excitedly this UHD field. I must admit, that before I began my work, I had doubts that the studied pre-clinical UHD formulations and marketed UHD based drugs in general possessed any pronounced clinical activity. However, the obtained clinical data surprised me. As a result, I became curious about the nature of ultra-high dilutions. What is the peculiarity of their properties? How to evaluate them especially, with in vitro and in vivo pre-clinical tests? Are there any theories that can describe the processes that occur in such systems?

Therefore, this project was born in 2019. Its goal is to discover and share information on UHD phenomena. This goal can be achieved by creating a permanent independent platform for the posting of relevant scientific data and its discussion. Another objective of this project is to convey information about advanced research in the field of UHD to young scientists, skeptics and the general public.

There is always answer behind a myth. Let’s do an objective scientific work together to convince everybody that UHD is not a myth.
